RoadRace Factory Team rebuilds bike during red flag

Dion Device Brake Lever Guard at Infineon from Dion Device Brake Lever Guard on Vimeo.

Dion Device brake lever guard team rider Hayden Gillim crashed when a rider directly in front of him went down. It was up to the RoadRace Factory team to rebuild his wrecked bike during the red flag. Against all odds, the team had Hayden back on the grid, of which he had to start dead last among 37 other riders. With bent forks and the rest of the grid against him, Hayden rode the tires off his bike and finished top ten on an ever-so-special race weekend. Film and Edit by Dion Device brake lever guard.

Biker Tangles with Panther

The panther pounced on Ken, knocking him off of his motorcycle. Ken was left with severe injuries. “I had a brain bleed, which they are mainly waiting to finish that off,” said Nolan. “I have a fractured shoulder, fractured rib that stayed in place and a clavicle that is severely displaced. The rest of this is just skin road rash.

Pennsylvania does motorcycle safety right

Pennsylvania offers free motorcycle rider courses.

With spring’s arrival, PennDOT reminds motorcyclists of all skill levels that Pennsylvania residents with a motorcycle license or permit can enroll in a free course to enhance their riding skills through the 2012 Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program (PAMSP).

All PAMSP courses are free to Pennsylvania residents who have a motorcycle learner’s permit or motorcycle license. All training courses are conducted on a riding range, under the management of certified rider coaches.

Used Buells – good idea or not?

“Well, I’ve always admired the fuel-in-frame Buell XB series. About 18 months ago, my pal Ivan emailed that he bought an XB9S, bringing back memories of how much I enjoyed riding theses bikes. Erik Buell intended them as true all-around streetbikes—comfortable, great handling, light and fun to ride.”

I enjoyed this article about Buells, I might have to consider finding one, at least taking one for a test ride!

Road rage – 4000lbs vs 500lbs

Bikers, be careful out there, you might be in the right, but you’re outgunned.

What are your thoughts on this?

Motorado – Grand Opening today

Took the Fazer out for a ride today to Lakewood, where a new bike consignment shop, Motorado, was having their grand opening. They had the grill going with dogs and brats, chips, soft drinks, and beer. Nice little place, and the owners were very friendly. I asked Ron if they do service work, and he pointed me over to Supertune, so i’ll be checking into those guys.

If you’re in the Denver area, looking to buy or sell your bike, do check them out.
